A Dickens of a Christmas is cancelled

We regret to inform you that "A Dickens of a Christmas" has been cancelled.

This unfortunately means that we are unable to host any of the Christmas parties that have been booked with us for 2008. We are deeply saddened by this and appreciate the disappointment and frustration this will cause you and your party.

On Friday 5th December, the first party went ahead as planned, and it was only after close of business that we were formally notified by Shunt Events Limited (who we lease the venue from) that its license did not allow for the number of attendees that have been booked for our event. This posed a health and safety issue which we have been unable to resolve.

We sincerely apologise for the late notice you have been given and are currently calling all clients that have booked tickets, so you should hear from us shortly. Please bear with us and we will inform you as soon as we can with regard to refunds. We are of course taking legal advice and consulting with our insurers as a matter of urgency.
